Firefox Adblock Filters
Background
One plugin (AdBlock) for Firefox browser allow you to block ad like flash or images banners. But there
no default filters list. So, i modify and convert existing list from another great browser based on IE engine Maxthon (Myie2).If you're french :) Take a look at http://adblock.free.fr/
Just a small warning : This adblock file was provided as an example. Don't forget, blocking ads can set somes websites in a tricky position. (a french exemple like many others) Please take this into consideration ! Don't kill your favorite website that you read every day. Theses sites are maintened by people like you.
How to install
- Download adblock.txt
- Use Firefox menu Tools/Adblock/Preferences
- Then Click on Adblock option and "import filters"
- Select the file you just download.
- Et voila.
